If you knew where to get advice, would you seek it?

I remember years ago when I was opening my in home daycare. I had lots of questions. Wishing at that time I knew what I do now. Wishing someone would have shared their experiences with me! Well, maybe what I say here will help someone out there who is starting a new business.
At that time in my life I lived in WI. My children were young and I decided to put an ad out for playmates for my preschool age children. After a while I had families calling me for help with their childcare situations. I was so excited to help someone else. I felt I was doing what the Lord wanted me to do!
Now, I could have used some advice on childcare and what to charge, safety, CPR, ratio etc. What I did is know I loved my children and I had lots of love for all kids out there. So “love” was my way of guidance for my in home daycare. Ya know they say “do what you love and the money will follow!”
I wish at that time I would have found some legal advice too! Well, now that my life has many pages, I know now where to go when I have questions on any topic. You see, I’m now a Certified Risk Consultant and I’m also certified in smallbusiness plans with Legalshield, as an Agent with Harvard Risk Management.
